Last week I had the honor of photographing the interment ceremony of my friend and colleague Maj. Candice Adams Ismirle. If you’re not familiar with her story, feel free to visit my website and see more about her journey with breast cancer.

Blue skies my friend.
Candice and Ryan, your unwanted, but heroic journey has inspired so many people. Cancer is a blind and vicious evil in the world. It takes without knowing what it has done.
Our hearts break for you and your beautiful family. I would love to have my children meet you and your amazing boys some day.
Peace be with you Ryan.
